AskDoc is a free to use app that will allow any individual in UK to register and book face-to-face and video consultations at the touch of a button. It is an easy to navigate app that will allow you to search using your location (i.e. postcode) to identify the nearby surgerys, register and book an appointment with your preferred GP at the touch of a button 24 hours a day. It will also allow the doctors to send the prescriptions directly to the pharmacy while allowing them to record the outcome of the consultation. The system will also send you email alerts for any appointments you have with your GP and can also show the history of all the past and future appointments. In addition, the app will allow the users to chose the relevant health symptoms on the fly which will allow the GP surgery administrators to prioritize the appointments based on the severity of the illness. The system uses state of the art security technology to secure all your personal details. The app does not save any confidential patient information that can compromise their privacy.
